From The Asylum

Hi y’all!

I love writing, teaching, and advocating for my son.

I’ve been published in various e-zines and print, including Baen’s Universe, Spacesports & Spidersilk, Black Petals, Star*Line, Anotherealm, Lost in the Dark, Bewildering Stories, Aphelion, and RevolutionSF, and edited and published From the Asylum, an e-zine of fiction and poetry.

I’m a member of SFWA, HWA, Bay Area Writers League, and Houston Writers Guild. I write non-fiction for various websites, including Hubpages. https://hubpages.com/@katsanger

I earned a few degrees, including a Master of Liberal Arts, a Master of Arts in English Literature, and an MFA in Creative Writing. I’ve taught English for over 15 years at various online and local community and technical colleges.

I’m in the process of setting up two very different blogs.

One is called “Simon’s Mom,” and it focuses on disability advocacy and my son.
